Conference Tip for April & May

When organising their annual conferences many companies try to enlarge the prospects list by looking only within the remit of their own sector.

We would advise to have a closer look to related industries and sectors instead. Never thinking the related sectors are quite “far off”

Companies who try to be mono or single sector based most of the time become sclerotized, becoming rigid and unresponsive; losing the ability to adapt. Very, very few become recognised specialists an when they do, they become easy targets for the competition.

We have seen among our clients that those who diversify survive and grow stronger in a market which is becoming more and more difficult to predict.

By inviting related sectors or industries to your annual conference will surprise you more than you can imagine. Innovation can be found at a lower cost. We know all companies try to protect their identities and signature, however this is not enough for a very changing future. Being more inclusive without giving away your “secrets” can in the long run be very beneficial.
